I am running for Boyle County Coroner in the election coming up on November 8. I have lived in Danville since age 5 and am a graduate of Danville High School. I have an Associate Degree from the University of Kentucky Community College System. In 1986 I began my career in Public Service as an EMT with the Danville-Boyle County Rescue Squad. I held positions as Captain, Secretary and Treasurer of that organization until it ceased operation in 1994 when Boyle County EMS was formed by Boyle County Fiscal Court. When I retired from Boyle EMS in 2016 I was Deputy Director of EMS. I held that position for 20 years.
I have always been interested in the Coroner’s office since I began my career in EMS. Throughout my 30 years of service I worked with Dr. Ramey, Dr. Hamner, King Pruitt and Mike Wilder on many cases that required the Coroner being called. Those men operated with the utmost compassion, integrity and trust.
My plan is to continue what they have built and grow in every possible way to continue to serve the citizens of Boyle County.
I am married to Amy Riley Miller and we have three children, Sara Beth a freshman at EKU, Jacob Sims a Lexington Firefighter and Hannah Sims a first grade teacher in Oldham County.
I respectfully ask for your support and your vote on November 8! #CompassionIntegrityTrust #MalcolmForCoroner Please help me spread the word by sharing!! More information to come…..Stay tuned!
